About Me

I have lived in Memphis for most of my life. After graduating from  high school I earned  degrees from Southern Illinois Univ./Carbondale; school of Home Economics and later a second master's from the University of St. Francis in Training and Development.

 I enjoy sharing  and blogging about my handwork. My studio where I work is a spare bedroom. It is known as the "sweat studio" because when I enter I am focused on seeing results. My work begins with many ideas and possibilities and is inspired from the experiences of my past and everyday life.  
  

Sometimes I will post about other things that interest like my work outside the home,  food, family, gardening.
