"I Am A Man" Custom Printed Fabric

During a visit to I found this "I Am A Man" custom printed fabric. The iconic "I Am A Man" slogan refers to the signs worn by the striking sanitation workers during a protest march in Memphis, Tennessee. Their fight for better working conditions is what brought Dr. King to Memphis. Sadly he was shot while standing on the balcony of the Loraine Motel.

This is a image of the fabric I purchased.

All eyes will be on Memphis this week as we commemorate the anniversary of his death on April 4, 1968. This morning I could not travel my usual route to work. Many streets are closed since there will be a lot of automobile traffic as well as foot traffic. It is in the spirit of Dr. King that I share with you the fabric and the message. It is reminiscent of days gone by when I too supported the sanitation workers and their message just as he did 50 years ago.
